I am a Certified Translator with several years of experience in Polish and English translation, a member of the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta (ATIA), and, by affiliation, a member of the Canadian Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters Council (CTTIC).
I hold graduate degrees in Translation Studies as well as Art & Design and Humanitites Computing, both from the University of Alberta, where I also taught Polish Language courses.
My scholarly area of interest encompasses the life and work of Magdalena Samozwaniec, and the Kossak Family phenomenon. My recent work was published in TranscUlturAl: A Journal of Translation and Cultural Studies, vol 9-1 (2017), and Studies in Translation - History and Theory (2015).
